Hi and Happy new year !

I was wondering if it is already possible to test infoglue 3 ?

I have to choose between different products for a long term internal product/project and
basing it on infoglue 2.9 look dangerous because infoglue 3.0 seems to be imminent.

Is there a way, we can test it ?
I didn't see any information on the sources.

Thank you.

I attended the user conference where 3.0 was presented, and as far as I understand it you can not download it yet, but it is coming soon. You can read a presentation on the differences at infoglue.org. Noteworthy is that the main changes can be found in the GUI, which means that many aspects of performance, security, and so on, can be evaluated independently of version.

At this page : http://www.infoglue.org/Download/InfoGlue_CMS it is said that there are nightly build of Infoglue but the access is forbidden ='(
I have build infoglue from CVS sources but I don't think I did it well 'cause I had some exceptions that appears.
The presentation from the conference are interesting but I didn't see much change into the CVS those days =/ The official roadmap is quite deprecated too =P
If someone has any news, please share =)

Hi,

I think if you like and trust InfoGlue, you should start with the current stable version and think about the migration to 3.0 later.

Starting with a new, not so stable version is a kind of suicide (you can not know what is the problem of the platform, and what is your fault) + you have the perspective to upgrade
