web server settings

Hi,
I'd to know where the "web server settings" parameters like "Digital Asset Directory" are stored
when we change them through the management tool (Edit Properties)?
in database? in properties file?
My searches did not result.

Default properties are stored on file system (cms.properties, deliver.properties, ...).
If you set new properties into management tool, you will override those default properties.
The new properties are stored into the database. Check for table OS_PROPERTYENTRY ...
The management tool server node properties are stored using open symphony property set.
