Oh, ok ill try to explain some more.
I tried selenium inside infoglue CMS mode and when i ran the test i recorded it stopped on the right click menu. So i was really wondering if there where a selenium plugin that was customized for CMS functionality. I have seen that Drupal have some kind of Selenium plugin.
I probably need to read the documentation of the remote server functionality and client first.
Thanks for the reply

Hi!
I was wondering if anyone is using or know about any test suite or something simillair that could provide a basic set of test cases in selenium.
Maybe someone have done something that can works in CMS mode as well?

This is just a little prototype i have made that imports google maps markers and displays them. It can also be combined with a datepicker that refines your results.
It is just a prototype and i put most effort into fixing the broken taglib.

Hi
Does anyone have a good "initial data" database for calendar in MySQL i only have the loaded one we use in production so its very hard to handle. And the database that comes with the calendar is empty.

I dont know how common this problem is, but ive noticed a issue when using the CMS deploy tool. If i have made a small change to a existing property. Sometimes the values becomes blank in the transfer process. It can also occur when i add new properties that a old property loses its select values. We are using 2.9.8.2 and i dont know if the deployment tools is somewhat custom for us.
anyone else seen this?

When i try to run the update script i get error message. However, if remove the two last rows and manually make the change myself.
ALTER TABLE cmFormEntry ADD COLUMN userName VARCHAR(255) NULL;
ALTER TABLE cmFormEntry ADD COLUMN registrationDateTime DATETIME NULL;
it works fine.

RSS reader
This component is a mess,.,, i know... working with stylesheet is so annoying since there is always one feed structure you have overlooked. In any case... this feed listing works for what we needed to do.

Ok, so there we go.... i know it depends on a custom taglib etc... but this is just the beginning. We are going to try to get permission to post our tags as well. Please give feedback or use them and make them better and then post your version. Maybe we can get a hold of some kind of shared file area in time. I will post all my components soon.

News detail:
This component is set to get a single content and display it in its whole form.

News RSS
so this is the component that is set to get the targetFolder of the newsList.

News list component:
Ok, so this is one component out of three that takes a given contenttypedefinition and shows a list of it. When clicking on the title you go to a specified detail page, and when clicking on RSS link you go to a RSS feed of the same list. Pretty simple, really...
there are some exceptions etc that needs to be taken in account.

Hello!
Welcome to the new forum Mattias, nice to see your post.
Since this topic is a bit sensitive atm, my post wont be as long as i would like it to be. Hopefully some important details will be revealed soon enough so the discussion can be about the actual software and not the politics around it.
I agree in Mattias suggestions on what needs to be done.
I think that the best strategy to get things going is to start by getting component contributions. As i understand it , most of our components are custom made for our own installation of infoglue, so the chance my component will work on a generic installation is quite slim. I would in any case like a resource site, where we just fork up as much components as we can spare and see what we get. The author of the component do not have to be accountable if it does not work straight away. When the person that downloaded this component gets it to work, he/or she can then post that version etc... This might need some kind of standard on how we package our components.
I think the community have stopped in its tracks because there is nothing new to talk about and if there is, it often feel hopeless since most of the sollutions are custom made for a specific installation. If we start to share our components at a higher rate i think our systems will start resemble eachothers much faster.
But like i said in the beginning, i might need to modify my opinions regarding this depending what actions the major actors will take in the near future.
